Milling work
Milling is a true craft. Our milling work is carried out on professional CNC milling machines. We have two different machines at our disposal: the Biesse Rover A 3-axis and the Biesse Rover B 5-axis.
The difference between 3-axis and 5-axis milling lies in the degree of freedom of movement and the complexity of the operations. 3-axis milling operates in three directions (X, Y, Z) and is ideal for simple to moderately complex parts that are machined from above. This type of milling is perfect for basic shapes, holes, slots, and flat surfaces.
With 5-axis milling, the machine can also rotate around two additional axes (A and B). Enabling the creation of intricate 3D shapes in a single pass, without needing to reposition the material. This allows for greater precision and faster production times. This technique is essential for creating highly complex parts with sharp details, such as precise interior and decorative pieces, or, of course, creative retail elements.
The setup, programming and quality control are all handled by our skilled CNC operators in the workshop, based on detailed technical drawings. The machine operators and technical draftsmen work together to ensure that the machine seamlessly produces what is on paper—a true team effort.
We specialize in milling with various materials, including wood, plastic, and foam types. From large-scale milling projects to smaller tasks, our specialists and machines can handle it all!
