The Set Company has been around for nearly 30 years, and we are proud of it. We started in the world of set building. Gaining experience with projects like Flodder, Amsterdamned, and De Lift. Since then, we have evolved into a versatile player in the interior, retail, and set building industries. With 50 specialists in our professional workshop and office, we approach all our projects with enthusiasm.
We combine traditional craftsmanship with advanced modern machinery. Whether it’s a restaurant interior in the Netherlands or a retail construction project abroad, our team is ready to bring any creative idea to life. Over the years, we have gained a wealth of experience with various clients, projects, and materials. We’ve built many hospitality venues in Amsterdam, including ‘t Blauwe Theehuis, Karavaan, Volare, and Polly Goudvisch. We also completed the beautiful ‘Welgelegen’ in Groenlo and a new office interior for AHAM real estate. We’re particularly proud of the new interior we built for Van Stapele Koekmakerij. Brands we work with include Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Cartier, adidas, Nike, and Karl Lagerfeld.

As a draftsman, you are part of the core of The Set Company. Along with our other talented draftsmen, you will apply your technical knowledge to our clients’ designs and ideas. We strive to be a critical success partner in projects, which means having a critical eye and not being afraid to suggest improvements. Knowledge of materials is also important. You will translate designs into producible products, developing detailed drawings that our builders can work from directly. We primarily use Vectorworks and Interiorcad, but also SketchUp, so experience with these programs is crucial.
Our ideal candidate has a passion for the trade and strong communication skills. In this role, you’ll interact with various departments. We are growing rapidly as a company and are looking for a candidate who wants to grow with us for the long term.
