The Set Company has been around for nearly 30 years, and we’re proud of that. We started in the world of set construction, gaining valuable experience along the way. Since then, we’ve grown into a dynamic player in the interior, retail, and set design industries. With a team of 50 specialists working in our professional workshop and office, we enthusiastically take on all our interior projects.
We combine traditional craftsmanship with advanced modern machinery. Whether it’s an office interior in Amsterdam or a retail build-out far beyond, our team is ready to bring every architect’s creative idea to life. Over the years, we’ve gained a wealth of experience with a diverse range of clients, projects, and materials, including AHAM Vastgoed, 3WO, and Casper Schwarz Architects. In every project, we aim to offer seamless support to our clients, from concept to full production and post-project services, both locally and internationally.

Your leadership ensures that projects are completed within budget and on schedule while inspiring your team to deliver exceptional results. You are detail-oriented, critical, and thrive in a dynamic environment. You know how to maintain oversight and derive energy from leading your colleagues through every phase of a project. You can channel this energy to your team and clients, building long-term relationships with a focus on the future.
Expectations
Here’s what we’re looking for in you:
- You are commercially minded.
- You have strong skills in accurate cost estimation and calculations.
- You have leadership qualities and are entrepreneurial by nature.
- You have technical insight and creative problem-solving abilities.
- You are familiar with budget management.
- You have strong organizational skills.
- You have a high sense of responsibility and always strive for the best outcome.
- You have an eye for quality and safety.
- You are strong in working independently.
- You are willing to travel for projects and client meetings.
Requirements
- A degree in a technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Availability of 32-40 hours per week.
- A valid driver’s license (B).
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
- Practical knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
